C) James Oglethorpe
James Oglethorpe was the
pioneer founder and creator of the colony of Georgia as a haven for English debtors.
This was approved and established during the year of 1732. Then the Oglethorpe
and his Trustees developed a “contractual, multi-tiered” design and strategy for
Georgia. The goal now of this development was for agrarian equality which is
supposed to support the economy and regulate farming and the industrialization
process within the area. Land ownership then was within a controlled and under specified
number of acres –fifty as the maximum.
