What I like to do it just round the numbers. 33 would go to 30. 76 would go to about 80. 30 times 70 equals about 2,100. Your answer should be somewhere around there.

Estimation: 30 x 80 = 2400
Method for Actual answer: (30 x 70) + (3 x 6)
2100 + 18 = 2118
