well, they started demanded that they were given places in the republic, they also stopped serving in the army as unpaid soldiers, also, they demanded they didnt have to be held prisoner, or be slaves for being in a debt bondage. they also demanded that the laws, also know as the twelve tables, were displayed publicly.
