The volume of a sphere is 4/3 pi times the cube of the sphere's radius. By "why:, I guess you mean where does this formula come from, and why is it this particular formula and not some different one. Sadly, you don't have enough calculus and solid geometry yet to start with a blank sphere and derive the expression for its volume.
