Analyze the changes that occurred during the 1960s in the goals, strategies, and support of the movement for African American civil rights.
The 1960s in America were an important time for the Civil Rights movement in that many black veterans were coming back from the War angry that they had been asked to fight for a country that treated them unfairly. This condensed support for the cause and gained many white sympathizers.
