You can use the conservation of energy to solve this problem. PE=KE
pe=ke
mgh=(1\2)mv^2
cancel out the m
gh=(1\2)v^2
2gh=v^2
√(2gh)=v
√(2*9.81*5.40)=V
V=10.2931 m/s
