$2.64 because, there are 16 ounces to one pound and if you take [tex] \frac{12}{16} [/tex] as a fraction it can be simplified down to [tex] \frac{3}{4} [/tex] or .75 or 75% of $3.52, therefore all that we need to do now is find 75% of $3.52 which to find you just take 3.52*.75=2.64 therefore your end answer is $2.64per 12 ounces.
