Well, first of all, mountains gave the Greeks an awesome advantage over their enemies during battles, wars, and sieges. It made it hard for the enemies to advance forward. Second of all, farming and agriculture is the best on mountains because there is always fresh water from the snow. Also it helped the Greeks give sacrifices to their gods. Hope this helps!
