divide both sides by 4
y=-3/4x+2
plug y=-3/4x+2 in 3x+4y=8
-> 4.5x+6(-3/4x+2)=12
4.5x-9/2x+12=12
decimal 9/2x=4.5x
4.5x-4.5x+12=12
x=0
plug x=0 in 3x+4y=8
4y=8
y=2
