3/4*[12*4+(-16)]+(-20)

A. 4
B. -44
C. 44
D. 16

No matter what I do, I just can't get any of these answers. I got 27 then -5 when I did it differently. Please help :)

What I got: 12 x 4 = 48. 48 + -16 = 32. 3/4 x 32 = 24. 24 + 20 = 44. I'm pretty sure this is correct. :P

3/4*(12*4(-16))+(-20)=3/4*(48-16)-20=3/4*32-20=24-20=4
