well if 100% of 85 is 85, the answer is going to be more than that. the multiplication is 175 x 85 =14875 /100 = 148.75.
1) if 100% of 85 is 85;
 2) What is the remaining 75%  85 x 3/4 => 85 x3=255 => 255/4 =>63.75
therefore 175% => 85 + 63.75 = 148.75.
