You have to think about where the numbers are vs where the decimal point is.
Also, saying the number out loud helps.
Two hundred six and forty seven thousandths
Two hundred (200) plus six (6) and then you need to keep the decimal where it is and put the other two together.
So the answer is 200 +6 +.04 +.007
