So,
The ratio of Ryan to Charlie is 1:5
Ryan=x
Charlie=5x
5x+x=1608
6x=1608
Divide both sides by 6
1608/6=268
x=268
Ryan has 268 stamps.
Charlie has 5(268) 1340 stamps.
1340+268=1608
1340-268=1072.
Charlie has 1072 more stickers than Ryan.

Hope I helped!
