On my math hw the question is about ratio tables and the question is: You baked 42 choclate cupcakes and 28 red velvet cupcakes. You package them in boxes that have the same ratio of choclate to red velvet as the total cupcakes. How many red velvet cupcakes are in a box that has 24 choclate cupcakes?

overall 42:28 = 21:14 = 3:2 choc:velvet
3:2 =24:v
v= (24/3 ) ×2
=8×2= 16
24 chocolate and 16 red velvet
