An artist transferred a rectangular design 13 cm long and 6 cm wide to a similar canvas 260 long and 120 cm wide. What is the scale factor?
The bes thing to do t find the scale factor is to divide the larger number by the smaller number. 260/13= 20 120/6= 20. As these are both the same, therefore, the scale factor is 20.
