1)ok so first line you transpose to group like terms so the V is on one side of the equal sign and the normal numbers on the other.
2) at all like terms so for the V and the normal you add by fractional addition or subtraction
3)divide both sides of the equation by the coefficient of V which is 7/12
4) finally divide by the fraction which in other wqords is multiply
