the number be "x"
According to the question,
x * x* x = 1000
x³ = 1000

Cube-rooting on both sides

[tex] \sqrt[3]{ x^{3} } = \sqrt[3]{1000} [/tex]

[tex] \sqrt[3]{ x^{3} } = \sqrt[3]{ 10^{3} } [/tex]

The cube cancels the cube root sign, so,

x = 10

So, the number is 10
