we know that

[tex] \frac{1}{10}= 10\%[/tex]

[tex] \frac{1}{10} [/tex] of [tex] 0.09 [/tex] is equal to find the [tex] 10\% [/tex] of the number [tex] 0.09 [/tex]

so

Multiply  [tex] \frac{1}{10} [/tex] by the number [tex] 0.09 [/tex]

[tex] \frac{1}{10} * 0.09= \frac{1}{10} * \frac{9}{100}=\frac{9}{1000}= 0.009[/tex]

therefore

the answer is

[tex] 0.009 [/tex]
